Orders
What is dropshipping with Widdop Dropshop?
Dropshipping allows you to sell Widdop products without holding stock. You list the products on your store, and when a customer orders, we pick, pack, and ship directly to them.
How does the Widdop Dropshop 3-step process work?
1. Customer places an order and pays retail price.
2. You place the order with Widdop Dropshop (manual or automated) at the wholesale dropship price.
3. We pick, pack, and deliver the order directly to your customer.
Can I manage orders manually instead of automating?
Yes. You can create manual orders via our fast-track checkout or upload orders in bulk using our import tool. This allows full control without automatic integration.
How do automated orders work?
By connecting your sales channel (e.g., Shopify) to Widdop Dropshop, we automatically update product listings, stock levels, prices, and download orders every 15 minutes.

Integration
What platforms does Widdop Dropshop integrate with?
We currently support the following platforms and marketplaces:
Although the platform does support Amazon, we are currently not accepting applications from online traders who solely trade on Amazon marketplace, and the Amazon connector is disabled by default.
Can I sell your products on Amazon?
We are currently not accepting applications from online traders who solely trade on Amazon marketplace.
Can I sell your products on other marketplaces like Etsy or NOTHS?
You’re welcome to sell our dropship products on your own website and on the approved marketplaces: eBay, TikTok Shop and Wish. If you’d like to sell on any other platform, you'll need to send us a request first. Approval isn’t guaranteed and is reviewed on a case-by-case basis - if it’s suitable, you’ll need to sign our Approved Marketplace Reseller Agreement before listing anywhere else.
Note that if your request is permitted, you will require a Linnworks account to connect to sales channels with no direct connector, or will need to manage listings manually.
Can I integrate Widdop Dropshop with Shopify?
Yes. You can connect your Shopify store to automatically download orders, update stock levels and pricing, and use our Shopify listing tool for products. See our full guide
here.
How do I set up Shopify integration?
1. Go to Settings → Sales Channel Integration → Add sales channel → Shopify.
2. Enter store details and authorise with Shopify.
3. Select order statuses to download and dispatch settings.
4. Save the integration and enable automatic fulfilment if desired.
What are SKU and shipping mappings in Shopify?
SKU mapping:
Ensures orders are matched to the correct Widdop inventory SKU for fulfilment.
Shipping mapping:
Ensures the correct shipping service is applied based on the Shopify order when downloading to Widdop Dropshop.
Can I disable or remove a channel integration?
Yes. Go to Settings → Sales Channel Integration, toggle the status switch to disable or click Remove Account to delete. Re-integration requires setting up from scratch.
I already have an Avasam account - can I use that?
No - you’ll need a separate account for our dropship portal.
Our platform is built on Avasam’s enterprise technology, but it’s a stand‑alone, whitelabelled system. It isn’t connected to Avasam’s own marketplace, seller accounts or pricing. Because of this, existing Avasam accounts can’t be linked, and you’ll need to register directly through our portal to access our products and services.
Does “Source Product” with no quantity showing mean the item is out of stock?
Yes. If a product shows Source Product but no stock figure (and no Buy Now button), it’s currently out of stock. You can still source it because it isn’t discontinued and may be restocked.

How do I contact customer support?
For support, email
[email protected] or call 0161 688 1226. Our award-winning team is here to help.
Can you tell me more about onboarding process?
Please note: While registrations are now open, accounts are not yet being activated. You’re welcome to register (if you haven’t already) to secure your place in the queue - we’ll begin approving and onboarding partners from mid-July, with early registrants prioritised. We’ll share a further update as we begin onboarding and confirm next steps.
Once we've received your registration, our sales support team will reach out to you. Subject to passing our initial checks, you will be asked to complete a new account form, the only exception being if you're an existing wholesale customer - in that case a separate dropship account will be created for you.
For new customers, once we've received your completed form, we'll set you up on our system and approve your account on the portal, at which point you'll have access to start selecting products and connecting your sales channel. The portal is largly self-service, but our team are on-hand to answer any questions you may have.
At the point of completing your new account form, you'll also be asked to sign a reseller license agreement specifically for our dropship service.
I am already a customer - can I still dropship with you?
Yes, we are accepting applications from existing wholesale customers, but you will be subject to the same sales channel restrictions as new customers.
How much does it cost to dropship through you?
There is no additional subscription fee for using our dropship service, you simply pay for the stock your customers' order at a special dropship price*. The best way to do this is register a payment card into your seller account - that way if you're automating your order import, payment is taken automatically and there is no delay processing the order. Please note, the stock is not allocated to the order until it is imported into our systems, and this does not happen until a successful payment has been made. To reduce the risk of a product being out of stock, it's therefore important to raise and pay for an order as soon as possible after your order has placed it, which is where full end-to-end automation is beneficial.
*The dropship price is not the standard wholesale cost but is priced to incorporate all the costs associated with fulfilling the item direct to an end consumer – e.g. also including the P&P costs.
How do I pay for the stock my customers order?
Order payments are taken automatically from your registered card once you have made a sale.
Do you provide RRPs for dropship products?
No - we intentionally do not publish RRPs on the dropship portal. Sellers set their own retail prices.
Why we don’t show RRPs
Dropship pricing works differently from wholesale pricing. Each item’s dropship cost includes not only the product itself but also the additional fulfilment costs (packaging, labour, postage, etc.). These costs vary significantly by product and can represent a much larger proportion of the total cost for lower‑priced items. Because of this, a single “standard” RRP markup doesn’t work consistently across the full range.
Rather than present RRPs that may not be commercially useful or accurate for every seller, we leave pricing decisions fully in your control - whether you set a consistent markup across all products or adjust item by item.
A note on lower‑priced items
If you charge your customers for shipping, remember that this contributes directly towards covering the dropship fulfilment cost. Many sellers find that this makes lower‑priced items commercially viable even when the dropship cost appears proportionally higher.
